The best offense or counter to the empty force competitor.

You gotta get to the 3:20 mark on the clip---The secret move is there:

that must be tough on the ego especially in front of student. a tap with a fan is better than a punch in the face though

I some ways a fan thing seems like it could be much more humiliating then a punch could be, with it's comical silliness value. The whole thing kind of just turns into a big joke, as does the "master's" practice - while a punch and k.o. seems to add a much more serious feel to it.

Great video - seems like appropriate responses/attacks for silly people doing silly things.

I'd like to know what he was saying after to try and explain it.

Same here! Could anyone who knows Japanese please look at the part between 3:30 and 3:45 in this clip:

and tell us (just the gist of it, in a sentence or two) what's he saying?
Would be highly appreciated.

(NOTE: you don't have to wait 3.5 minutes and watch all of it -- just click in the middle of the video progress bar at the bottom (on which the red dot is), after the video starts playing, and it will jump to the point where you clicked -- the 3:30 point is at about 60% into the clip.)

Thanks!
