Check this "secret skill" out. Available for US$1000.* LOL - totally blatant!

http://www.youtube.c...feature=related

*I guess the punters were not queuing at his door - in the YouTube discussion thread, he has dropped his price to US$900.

This guy is an idiot.

He critiqued some of my stuff on youtube, and he was telling Hejinghan on one of his vids that what he was doing had nothing to do with bagua, as though he knew something about something.

Look at his "liquids" video.

He seems to be damaged goods.

I've seen this guys youtube vids before - I was about to say I'd only pay the $900 if he included the "secrets" to the "liquids" training. BigLOL.gif

I think he also critiqued one of Luo's vids. rolleyes.gif

He is what, late 20s, early 30s, and critiquing He and Luo? LMFAO. What a knacker!

But he dared criticize our very own Segler too, eh? Unforgiveable. This lad is heading for a mighty slapdown, I predict.

It's funny you read these guys making scathing attacks on some of the greatest living masters in the world and you check out their age and they are always somewhere between 18 and 22.

It's kind of hilarious in it's own way.

As a early/mid twenty-something, I have to say that early to mid twenty-somethings need to shut the fuck up and listen just as bad as the teenagers do.

The 'Zhangsta's dancing is a lot smoother than his Bagua....

Stiff as a board, and with all the flow of setting concrete. And he dared to diss our boy Segler? Damned impertinence!

Wow, the shadow of Ian Prescott strikes out!

It's pretty obvious where this idiot actually picked up what he's showing.

You know who this dudes teacher is?

His dancing was amusing, not too bad I guess if you are into that kind of stuff. But his Ba Gua was very stiff, disconnected, etc, etc.

Some of us are also old enough to remember Grandmaster V.H.S. Ca Sset-te. It is true though that many secrets were lost when his head became old and worn or his sprockets failed to respond when it was ordained "Und, now ve dance!" ... he wrote mischievously with not a thought of old SNL episodes.

The movement he displays at the beginning of the "liquid" video clip is almost a textbook counterexample of Baguazhang movement principles. Creating staccato, spasmodic whole-body tension while moving is exactly and precisely wrong. The rest of the clip shows his amazing prowess in creating extreme disconnectedness while appearing to move smoothly, just exactly what you'd expect from a "Bagua" guy who was really a breakdancer.
Perfection and mediocrity are the two mortal enemies of excellence.

Liquid dancing and bagua are two very different things.
I don't see why they are mutually exclusive.
OTOH, I don't think his bagua is very good either.
But hey! grin.gif

I don't do Bagua of course but just curious of what you Bagua guys thought of the first drill. Not the paying for it part, just the drill itself.
