there got your attention? smiley.gif

Looks like Joseph Arriola, has been posting crap like that on other boards such as Formosa Neijia

"
I hesitate to comment on most people unless they are exceptionally good.

Cartnell, is not tai chi or anything internal. He may have practiced the form but, never learned its uses. He is a mixed martial artist who is more bbj than anything else. Don’t be fooled by the exterior.

I’m in a bit of a foul mood.

Looks like he's playing crybaby since he's been laughed off of this board and others sleep.gifgrin.gif

And I was just thinking about how "colorful" the days were when people like Richard Dunn etc... would make outrageous statements...

I've been waiting...

I moved this thread to BTDT. Gossip and drama is often interesting, but not for the main forums.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."

My all time favorite: "You can’t “see” it. How could you if you have never experienced it. Talk to me in another 30 years. You are still a young man with little experience. Or you can come to learn from a true expert. This will accelerate your learning."

My point is..instead of bitching and whining about other peoples skills...Maybe he should just train. It seems he is trolling for contraversy.

XYZ, is not tai chi or anything internal. He may have practiced the form but, never learned its uses (no matter how long he has trained in Taiji, he is still an external guy).

Will we get different response on this thread if one said:

XYZ, is not Baiji or anything external. He may have practiced the form but, never learned its uses (no matter how long he has trained in Baiji, he is still an internal guy).

Under "Douche Bag" in the dictionary it says "See him"!

The sad thing is after 40+ years of training Joseph would get smeared all over the mat by Tim's student Edmond who is 17 and been training for under a year!!!! Let alone what the rest of us would do with years of experience! Give me a break! The guy is a legend in his own mind!

No, actually I kind of agree with Mr. Assihola (I hope I haven't misspelled his name!). I've been studying Xing Yi with Tim for a little over a year and I'm really disappointed. I expected to be fighting people by flying through the bamboo tops by now. I've actually seen film of people doing this in China, you know, so it's real. I can't even levitate a little bit, or shoot blue fire from my fingertips! (but I CAN from other places on my body). Can I move my chi at will, so that I suddenly seem to weigh a thousand pounds, or can a redwood fall on my head without it hurting? NO! Tim has hardly taught me ANYTHING internal. He insists on showing me stuff like forms, applications, punching, footwork, stance training, kicking, turns, defensive manoeuvres, entries and other useless crap like that. When he gets back into town, I'm going to ask him for some of my money back so that I can go to China this summer and meditate on top of Wudang Mountain with ancient Taoist immortals. When I get back in the fall, I should be invincible.

Watch out seventeen year-old!
